Late last month, Delta Air Lines opened its second largest Sky Club, a 500-seat, 30,000-square-foot facility in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The new lounge is located near the center of Concourse B, the busiest in Delta’s portfolio.

The new Sky Club is smaller only than the Delta Sky Club at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The new Atlanta lounge has local and regional touches, features locally sourced food items, craft beer from Georgia breweries and artwork from Atlanta art galleries. The modern design features tiered ceilings and large windows that look over downtown Atlanta. There’s also a “wine wall” curated by sommelier Andrea Robinson.

“This is our flagship lounge at Hartsfield-Jackson, the flagship airport in America and the world,” Ed Bastian, CEO, Delta Air Lines, told the crowd before President Glen Hauenstein cut the ceremonial ribbon. “It’s a true oasis for customers. To be able to have this refuge for them is truly phenomenal.”

Marc Ferguson, general manager – Sky Club Experience, Delta Air Lines, had this to say about the new lounge: “This club is in the busiest concourse in the busiest airport in the world,” Ferguson said. “It can create whatever experience guests are looking for. If they want to power-up, we have plugins. If they want to be productive, we have spaces that allow for meetings or solo working. If they prefer to refresh, we have the bar, with seating and food to facilitate socializing.”
