The Bentwood Inn adds this award to its many accolades. The TripAdvisor program helps travelers plan more environmentally-friendly travel by recognizing industry leaders who have taken steps to shrink their environmental footprint.
“As a long standing Gold level GreenLeader, we are especially honored to be recognized by TripAdvisor as a Platinum GreenLeader — their highest certification — for our continuing focus on operating a sustainable luxury inn in Jackson Hole, and helping preserve the unique Yellowstone Ecosystem we are privileged to share with guests,” said Bob Schrader, innkeeper, Bentwood Inn.
Properties must meet a set of environmental standards set by TripAdvisor in consultation with other partners, including the United Nations Environmental Programme, the U.S. Green Building Council, ENERGY STAR and the International Center for Responsible Tourism Canada.
