Exciting news ahead for TAP Air Portugal, as Portugal’s flag carrier prepares for the launch of its brand-new Economy Prime cabin, offering customers more space, additional privacy and a superior travel experience. Flights boasting the new cabin take off June 1; booking for Economy Prime is now available across all TAP channels and travel agents.
Economy Prime, delivering greater choice between economy and business, will be available on both the Airbus A330 and A321LR fleets. The cabin features 12 seats immediately behind business class arranged in a four-seat-per-row configuration. The side seat will always remain empty to offer a quieter, more private layout for passengers to feel more relaxed and comfortable throughout the flight.

But the Economy Prime experience begins even before boarding as travelers enjoy enhanced airport services including premium check‑in, priority baggage handling, Fast Track security access and premium boarding. With Economy Prime, a smoother travel experience, from arrival at the airport to the final destination, awaits.
Economy Prime elevates the travel experience with its personalized service and carefully curated details. Passengers will enjoy a premium main meal with two hot entrée options, the ability to pre‑select their meal up to 24 hours before departure, an amenity kit, and a premium pillow.

Flexibility and additional benefits are hallmarks of the new cabin offering as travelers earn more TAP Miles&Go miles, have the ability to reschedule flights and benefit from improved refund policies.
