Avelo Airlines announced four new non-stop routes and a third based aircraft at Dallas’ McKinney National Airport, increasing the airline’s Collin County network to nine destinations.
“The response from North Texas has been extraordinary, and the bookings back that up,” said Andrew Levy, CEO, Avelo Airlines. “Adding four new destinations and a third based aircraft further cements our commitment to Collin County. Our low fares, the small size and convenience of DTX, and our consistent industry-leading on-time performance are a winning combination for travelers. As a proud Texas-born company, we are excited to grow our presence in Texas and Collin County, one of the fastest-growing areas in America. Once you fly with us, you’ll understand what we mean — if you know, you Avelo.”
The airline begins service from DTX to Denver (DEN) on Dec. 16, followed by service between DTX to New Orleans (MSY) on Dec. 17. Also on Dec. 17, Avelo Airlines begins service between DTX and Nashville (BNA).
These new routes join the airline’s inaugural DTX service beginning Nov. 11 to Las Vegas (LAS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Orlando (MCO) and Tampa (TPA).
Avelo Airlines will also base a third Boeing 737-900 at DTX, featuring 184 seats.

Prestige Oceanfront Resort rises directly above Sooke Harbour, where boats move across the basin, and the Olympic Mountains form the horizon beyond the strait.
