Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Worldwide’s luxury brand of landmark hotels, today announced the opening of Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, the brand’s first hotel in the U.A.E. and the latest addition to the global Waldorf Astoria portfolio.
Located about 50 minutes from Dubai, the hotel in Ras Al Khaimah boasts oversized rooms and suites, an18-hole championship golf course, a 350-meter private beach, a state of the art spa, four restaurants and six dining and entertainment venues.
The hotel will also include two of Waldorf Astoria’s famous brand signatures – a grand lobby clock and Peacock Alley. Inspired by the legendary Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah clock is designed to honor regional Arab culture and will include the five daily prayer times. Peacock Alley, located across ground floor and mezzanine levels, is reflective of the grand social promenade that connected the original Waldorf and Astoria hotels in New York.

Prestige Oceanfront Resort rises directly above Sooke Harbour, where boats move across the basin, and the Olympic Mountains form the horizon beyond the strait.

Sep 30, 2026Review: Sushi by Scratch at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley
Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. While they launched the original Scratch Kitchen in 2013, an expired lease prompted them to relocate to an unassuming strip mall in suburban Encino in 2015 and rename it Scratch Bar & Kitchen. Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
