Ever want handcrafted martinis and freshly shucked oysters delivered straight to your room? The Read House’s New Martinis & Pearls service has you covered. Shining in 1920s-themed decor, the historic hotel in the heart of Chattanooga offers a true Gatsby-esque experience, now further elevated with this upscale amenity. Guests can now indulge in their perfectly chilled martini, made to order, and “pearls” (oysters) in the comfort of their room.
With the new Martinis & Pearls service, guests can anticipate the arrival of a dozen freshly shucked oysters accompanied by the necessities: tangy lemon, cocktail sauce, horseradish and mignonette, served on a bed of shaved ice. Along with that, guests have the choice of two seasonally inspired martinis made to order. Options include
- Old Reliable: A standard martini with vodka or gin, dry vermouth and a choice of twist or olives
- Lemon Drop 75: Gin or vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and a splash of Champagne
- Metropolitan: Gin or vodka with pomegranate, lime juice and simple syrup
- Ready, Set, Espresso: Vodka, espresso, Kahlúa and simple syrup
This luxury experience is available to overnight guests on Friday and Saturday nights for $99 and must be ordered 24 hours in advance.
