Just in time for the summer 2019 travel season, United Airlines announced a new slate of destinations from the United States to hot spots both domestically and abroad. Some of these routes will be the only routes served by either a U.S. airline or offered as a non-stop flight.
As of March 30, United became the only U.S. airline to connect San Francisco with the Netherlands (AMS) with service continuing throughout the season. In May, United launched international route from Denver (DEN) to Frankfurt, Germany (FRA), the only non-stop flight operated by an American airline
Also in May, United became the only airline to fly from Washington Dulles Airport to Tel Aviv (TLV), Israel, and also from New York (JFK) and Naples, Italy (NAP).
Other European destinations served during the summer season include Athens, Greece (ATH); Glasgow, Scotland (GLA); Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona, Spain (BCN); Rome (FCO) and Venice, Italy (VCE); and Shannon, Ireland (SNN).
Caribbean hot spots served by United this summer will include Bermuda (BDA) from (EWR), and St. Thomas (STT) and Turks and Caicos (PLS) from Houston (IAH). Travelers from New Orleans (MSY), San Antonio (SAT) and Austin (AUS) can fly the special summer service to Cancun, Mexico (CUN).
