Low-cost carrier Norwegian Air will expand its long-haul routes, adding new U.S. options to and from Madrid (MAD), Amsterdam (AMS) and Milan (MXP) throughout 2018.
The airline will add a four-times-weekly service between New York (JFK) and Amsterdam starting May 7, followed by a four-times-weekly route between JFK and Milan starting June 18.
Additional flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and Madrid will run four times a week starting in July, along with a three-times-weekly flight between Madrid and JFK starting July 18.
These new additions will bring Norwegian’s non-stop trans-Atlantic network to 61 routes connecting 13 U.S. airports.
“2017 has been a year of exponential growth for Norwegian in Europe and the United States. Next year, we will continue our long-haul expansion by offering passengers easy and affordable connections between the U.S. and some of Europe’s most exciting cities,” said Bjorn Kjos, CEO, Norwegian Air.
