London recently welcomed a series of enhancements to Grosvenor House Suites, a Highgate-managed luxury, residential-style property in the heart of Mayfair.
With 32 redesigned suites, a reimagined check-in experience and new cigar offerings, Grosvenor House Suites features design-led moments extending beyond just a traditional overnight stay.
Each suite combines privacy and attention to detail through redefined interiors, including a bespoke ombré wall treatment inspired by Hyde Park sunsets. Featuring flexible bedroom configurations, spacious living areas and plenty of kitchen space, suites accommodate all types of travelers, from families to multigenerational travelers, business travelers to long-stay guests.
Alongside the suite redesign, guests are greeted with a clean, elegant concierge arrival space, completed with Calacatta Green marble tops, timeless paneled walls and curated artwork based off the building’s 1920s heritage.
“We wanted guests to feel an immediate sense of tranquility from the moment they arrive,” said German Mendoza of Wimbley Interiors, the design company behind the hotel’s transformation.
Cigar lovers will especially appreciate Grosvenor House Suites’ new hospitality experience on the second floor overlooking Park Lane. Ember Cigars lounge offers a refined setting for visitors to experience British craftsmanship, luxury and service in a distinctly contemporary environment. Premium cigars from around the world are available to guests and are complemented with a collection of rare Scottish whiskies.
“These enhancements mark an exciting new chapter for Grosvenor House Suites,” said Andrew Henning, general manager, Grosvenor House Suites. “Together, they further elevate the residential experience that defines our property, creating spaces that feel both luxurious and welcoming while enhancing every stage of the guest journey.”

The National Trust owns more than 500 historic buildings across the United Kingdom, each offering a vivid sense of its particular era. In common with many visitors, I often find myself wondering what it would be like to actually live in such a place. Imagine sitting, for instance, in one of those ancient oak-paneled drawing rooms at night, with the fire roaring and the wind rattling the ancient mullioned windows. I didn’t have to imagine it. Here I was, immersed in history in 17th-century Bodysgallen Hall in North Wales.
