Global Traveler subscribers are invited to join CEO and publisher Francis X. Gallagher for an experience along the Rhine River, Oct. 29–Nov. 5. Enjoy this brand-new and exclusive cruise, not yet open to the public, sailing from Frankfurt to Brussels, with stops in Rüdesheim, Cochem, Bonn and Nijmegen.
Journey on the new Transcend Connect, a vessel combining the experience of a river yacht with that of an urban luxury resort, all while cruising through the heart of Europe. Unpack once and wake each day in a new destination: Frankfurt, Rüdesheim, Cochem, Bonn, Nijmegen, Antwerp and Brussels — with castles, vineyards, historic towns and iconic cities as the backdrop to an extraordinary week.
Mornings begin with coffee on the top deck as castles and vineyards pass quietly by. Afternoons might find you in the 2,300-square-foot wellness center, on a guided bike ride through a riverside town or enjoying wine on the sun deck. Evenings begin with cocktails by the rooftop fire pit followed by an exceptional dining experience paired with curated wines. At night, the two-story Forum becomes your private cinema or concert venue.
This 5-star cruise with Global Traveler will also include an outdoor BBQ and grill, open-air yacht cinema and premium service. Designed for Global Traveler, this limited-access departure offers a rare opportunity to be part of something few will ever experience.
Europe’s rivers prepare to welcome a new way of cruising with Transcend Cruises.
A NEW RIVER CRUISE WILL HIT SOME OF EUROPE’S MOST ICONIC AND SCENIC WATERWAYS LATER THIS YEAR. Transcend Cruises is so much more than your typical river cruise line: The brand’s state-of-the-art fleet is purpose-built for meetings and events. Each vessel, crafted with unparalleled attention to detail, offers customizable spaces, luxurious amenities, cutting-edge technology and some of the most sustainable features found on rivers.
Customization is at the forefront of each and every journey with Transcend Cruises. When it comes to culinary experiences, your group’s dining preferences should reflect your wants and program. In other words, Transcend Cruises doesn’t believe in one size fits all; choice is built into its entire culinary offering to craft menus to adopt to various occasions, from à la carte dining to family-style experiences.
Additionally, up to four curated beverage venues are available, including the main lounge, aft lounge and library café. Transcend Cruises is also ready to arrange for a private dining experience for your group through its Bespoke program.

Wellness is a core pillar of Transcend Cruises, occupying more than just a space and piece of equipment. Rather, Transcend Cruises embraces well-being through a fully dedicated wellness zone spanning more than 2,600 square feet across three levels. Within, travelers can unwind at the outdoor-facing spa, sauna, relaxation lounge and two private treatment rooms. A fitness center with Technogym equipment as well as an on-demand wellness studio allow guests to maintain physical well-being, while an upper deck with a yoga deck, rock garden and barefoot walking path encourage mindfulness.
Onboard entertainment options promise to not only delight but also inspire. Live performances feature local talent, themed parties under the stars and intimate live music sessions. Whether it’s socializing over cocktails at sunset or practicing your steps on dance night, the Transcend Cruises team is prepared to ensure any and everything is at your disposal to entertain and indulge.
Who says you can’t combine a little bit of work with a lot of cruising fun?

Five onboard locations are available, capable of fitting all 120 guests, as well as up to 10 venues for breakouts, complete with exceptional digital technology inside and outside, and all the audiovisual needs you can think of included in your charter rate.
Speaking of technology, it’s embedded into every aspect of Transcend Cruises, from trip planning to meeting spaces to onboard entertainment to dining. From in-meeting lighting that adapts to your brand to many indoor and outdoor digital screens to display your message, everything works seamlessly to enhance your Transcend experience.
Transcend Cruises’ accommodations include 60, identical, oversized staterooms — all convertible, too. You can have as many as 30 two-room suites in pairs. Staterooms boast French balconies with sash windows; luxurious beds with eco-friendly bed linens; an open bathroom design with smart privacy glass, spa shower, dual sinks, separate washroom and sink, vanity mirror and sustainably packaged luxury spa amenities; a walk in closet; and complimentary internet access and QLED television. There’s even Quiet Sleep active sound cancellation integrated into each stateroom.
Other in-room amenities include a complimentary minibar stocked with waters and nonalcoholic beverages daily, a pillow options menu, mood lighting options, and multiple outlets.
Where can you journey with Transcend Cruises in its inaugural year? The new cruise line will sail the Lower, Middle and Upper Rhine, as well as the Lower, Middle and Upper Danube. Think destinations like Amsterdam, Utrecht, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Strasbourg, Basel, Bratislava, Budapest, Belgrade and more.
The destination is only part of the story. Life onboard is the experience.

Imagine a place where the weather is always warm and the sun forever shines upon groves of towering palm trees and unspoiled white-sand beaches, where a vast expanse of turquoise water surrounds you as far as you can see. When I first landed in the Seychelles last spring, I knew I’d discovered a hidden Eden. Known as the Land of Perpetual Summer, the archipelago consists of 115 islands scattered in the western Indian Ocean, north of Madagascar and 1,000 miles east of mainland Africa.
