Opened in 1939 at the end of the Art Deco period, the hotel stands as an example of Santa Monica’s Streamline Moderne architecture. A recent $30 million update maintained the historic integrity of the building, creating the perfect venue to celebrate the best of the best in leisure travel. The fete, co-sponsored by LATAM, celebrated the 2014 award winners with themed cuisine, a festive atmosphere and a stunning sunset.
