One of Seattle’s most iconic hotels, Kimpton Alexis Hotel recently completed a property-wide refresh.
The redesign of all 121 guestrooms was inspired by the close views of Puget Sound, and exudes luxury and comfort. The biggest suites include 1,225 square feet of space, sweeping panoramic views of Puget Sound, wood-burning fireplaces and an on-demand spa menu.
The room décor incorporates the hotel’s location along with nautical elements, and European and Asian influences — all tied into the rooms throughout the property. Grays, blues and wave-shaped tiles accentuate the nautical themes.
“We look forward to debuting our new look to our guests and the Seattle community,” said Tom Waithe, regional vice president, Pacific Northwest and Mountain Region, Kimpton Hotels. “Providing a memorable experience and exceptional hospitality is our priority and we look forward to continuing to serve this purpose with the reintroduction and thoughtful enhancements to our guestrooms.”
“Seattle’s natural beauty provided inspiration for each guestroom’s canvas, which translates into the sophisticated fabrics and the nautical theme that is so deeply embedded in the city’s culture,” said Olson Rigdon, founder and principal designer, designstudio ltd.
In addition to the new rooms, guests will find a refreshed lobby, upscale dining and 24-hour fitness facilities.
