“Mi Vida at DCA is a great example of what we believe is the next generation of airport dining — bringing a celebrated local restaurant into the airport in a way that feels authentic to the brand, relevant to the community and memorable for the traveler,” said Simon Lorady, vice president, business development and brands, Jackmont Hospitality.

The venue provides signature cocktails and convenient take-out options. Breakfast starts with egg and cheese tacos, Burrito Tejano, or steak and eggs, available until 10 a.m. For main courses, guests can choose between burritos, grilled salmon Mestiza and the Guajillo smashburger. Popular sides include plantains, sweet potato fries and Ana’s white rice with refried black beans, with starters of tortilla soup, alitas and Tatanachos.

Chips, salsa and hand-crushed guacamole dishes come with house-made tortilla chips, all pairing well with signature cocktails such as margaritas, piñada and the Ponche de Lola.

“Mi Vida brings a true sense of place to Reagan National, giving travelers an opportunity to experience a beloved Washington-area Knead Hospitality brand right here at the airport,” said Jaimini Erskine, vice president for Marketing and Concessions, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. “Partnerships such as these allow us to connect travelers with authentic local flavors while supporting businesses that contribute to the vibrancy of our region.”

Review: Prestige Oceanfront Resort

Vancouver Island gets progressively wilder as you leave Victoria behind and follow the coastline west. By the time you reach Sooke, about 45 minutes from the provincial capital, city blocks have surrendered to forests, rocky shoreline, sheltered coves and long views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Prestige Oceanfront Resort rises directly above Sooke Harbour, where boats move across the basin, and the Olympic Mountains form the horizon beyond the strait.

The Art of Balance in Seoul: Beyond the Boardroom

The value of a destination is no longer defined solely by infrastructure, efficiency or scale. Increasingly, it is measured by a city’s ability to balance productivity with well-being — creating opportunities for focus, restoration and more meaningful connections.

Why Japan Is Best Explored by Sea with Princess

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons —  feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.

Review: Sushi by Scratch at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. While they launched the original Scratch Kitchen in 2013, an expired lease prompted them to relocate to an unassuming strip mall in suburban Encino in 2015 and rename it Scratch Bar & Kitchen. Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
