Nobu officially revealed its first venture into Puerto Rico with Nobu Hotel and Restaurant San Juan. Scheduled to open in 2028, the 50-room property will boast a signature Nobu restaurant and bar at street level, as well as a rooftop bar and lounge.
“Puerto Rico has long been one of the Caribbean’s most compelling destinations, celebrated for its rich history, vibrant culture, and exceptional hospitality,” said Trevor Horwell, CEO, Nobu Hospitality. “Bringing the Nobu Hotel and Restaurant to San Juan allows us to become part of one of the region’s most storied neighborhoods while introducing our distinctive approach to hospitality in a destination that continues to attract discerning travelers from around the world.”

Guests can expect Nobu’s contemporary aesthetic and understated approach to luxury, all seamlessly blending with the historic city known for distinctive architecture and rich cultural heritage.
The announcement closely follows the brand’s debut in Madrid, with the 50-room Nobu Hotel Madrid, featuring a three-story Nobu restaurant, bar and lounge.
Looking ahead, Nobu will also come to Portugal’s Eastern Algarve with Nobu Monte Rei in 2029, as well as its Maldivian debut in Laamu Atoll on the private island of Munyafushi.
