Personalizing the travel experience and responding to passengers’ needs more than ever before, TAP Air Portugal introduces new services and amenities. The airline debuted new travel kits on long-haul flights, available in business and premium-economy cabins. The kit, called The Blaze, boasts an updated design, refreshed contents, and a stronger focus on Portuguese identity and sustainability. Kits include products from Portuguese companies like socks from PEDEMEIA, as well as wellness and personal care products from 8950.

Updates also include complimentary access to PressReader through the in-flight WiFi portal. Access is available on Airbus A330-900 and Airbus A321LR aircraft, allowing passengers to browse a selection of national and international magazines and newspapers for free.

Customers can also now select the “Skip Meal” option in advance to indicate they would prefer to skip their in-flight meal.

Additionally, the airline partnered with LUGGit, providing a new luggage collection, storage and delivery service. The service is available to passengers traveling through airports in Lisbon (LIS), Porto (OPO), Madrid (MAD), Barcelona (BCN) and Athens (ATH). The service enables customers to request luggage collection, storage and delivery at departure and/or at their destination, with pick up or drop-off at the airport, hotel, home or another location of their choice.
