Renaissance Hotels recently debuted a new video series, The Navigator’s Table, featuring celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern. The unscripted series revolves around Zimmern hosting unique tastings at Renaissance properties. All of the show’s six episodes are now online to view, both on the Renaissance Hotels website and the brand’s YouTube channel. Zimmern also serves as a guest Navigator, which is Renaissance’s version of a lifestyle concierge. There are two episodes each for three foodie destinations — Chicago, New York and Nashville. Zimmern brings along friends and colleagues from well-known brands and shows such as Food & Wine, The Chew, Iron Chef and more. Zimmern also created a selection of bar menu items inspired by destinations featuring new Renaissance properties. The special bar snacks will be available June 16 only, for the brand’s Global Day of Discovery. Menu items include new takes on poutine, meze, satay and more. “My whole life has been a journey of discovery, traveling the world looking for the exotic, bizarre and unusual. I know the difference between good food and good eating and how important it is to try something new and get out of our comfort zone, and I’m proud to bring those experiences to The Navigator’s Table and to Renaissance Hotel,” said Zimmern.
