Washington, D.C.’s annual National Cherry Blossom Festival is in full effect, and The Hay-Adams hotel, located in the heart of the capital and boasting the best views of the White House, is celebrating with a special offer, a new menu and a specialty cocktail. The special is available through April 12, with a minimum three-night stay.
The annual National Cherry Blossom Festival honors springtime in Washington, D.C., as well as Japan’s gift of cherry blossom trees to the United States and the countries’ enduring friendship. Daily events feature arts and culture programming, and more; most are free and open to the public.
The hotel’s Cherry Blossom offer includes luxury accommodations, complimentary breakfast for two, a festival information packet and a cherry amenity. The Hay-Adams is also offering a special menu and a themed cocktail at The Lafayette on-site restaurant and Off the Record, the hotel bar. The special menu is listed below.

Hamachi Sashimi with shaved vegetables and wasabi aioli
Crispy Berkshire pork belly with corn and vanilla puree, carrot and white soy emulsion

Caramelized black cod with baby bok choy, pickled radish and miso mustard
Nori-wrapped Wagyu strip steak with crushed edamame, morels and plum wine reduction

Morello cherry and pistachio financier with caramelized white chocolate ice cream
In addition to unrivaled White House views, The Hay-Adams offers panoramic views of Lafayette Square, Lafayette Park and St. John’s Church. The historic D.C. hotel, with 145 guestrooms and 21 suites, was built in the 1920s, and offers guests the feel of a private mansion retreat just moments from the city’s monuments.
