Expansive wellness facilities, endless dining outlets, a cabaret club, luxury accommodations and massive pools come to Istanbul with the debut of Aliée Istanbul. Opening this fall, the hotel sits on the city’s iconic Golden Horn within the historic Tersane district, bringing Parisian charm and elegance to this ancient city.

The upscale hotel will span 122 guestrooms and suites, six culinary experiences, and a holistic wellness concept called Well+. Guests can select from a suite in the Casthouse, where centuries-old stone walls meet soaring ceilings; a suite in the Atelier Building, framed by glass canopies and draping greenery; or one of 10 suites in the Foundry, complete with towering ceilings, arched windows, and views over Tersane gardens and old town.

All accommodations come with access to the hotel’s shorefront Swim Club, a vintage-meets-contemporary country club with a shorefront lagoon pool and Olympic lap pool. The club’s surrounding lawns will also make for the perfect sunrise yoga or meditative sound bath spot.

The hotel’s Well+ space will be one of the region’s most forward-thinking destinations, covering more than 13,000 square feet and featuring marble hammams, an indoor pool, Russian-style banya, traditional saunas, cold plunges, treatment rooms and a Longevity Clinic. The hotel’s gym will also lie in the wellness space.

Guests will have endless options when it comes to food. Six restaurants and bars will grace the hotel, each honoring the city’s rich culinary traditions and elegance of international flair. Taste will be helmed by three-Michelin-starred Thomas Bühner, linking East and West influences in an open-kitchen setting. At Mondaine de Pariso, guests will be transported to 19th-century Paris through dinner and a show, while Little House will offer up seasonal fare from morning to midnight. For an alfresco experience, Hasbahçe serves up fares like Neopolitan pizza with a Turkish twist, all while overlooking the Golden Horn. Craft cocktails await at Pink Bar.

Peru’s New Airport Plans to Welcome More Travelers to Cusco and Beyond

As of now, travelers visiting Cusco and Peru’s Sacred Valley typically fly in and out of Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, but that’s all about to change. In late 2026 the new Chinchero International Airport is slated to open and replace the existing Cusco airport (CUZ). Currently, international travelers typically fly into Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport and then connect to CUZ, but once Chinchero opens, it will offer more direct flights to Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The new airport, not yet assigned an IATA code, will be eight times larger than the existing airport, with the intent to increase flight capacity and provide an easier way to visit the popular destination.
