Hilton Worldwide debuted the first of its 11 hotels in the pipeline in the fast-growing city of Chengdu, China. Marketing the entry of the Hilton brand in the city, Hilton Chengdu becomes the 30^th Hilton-branded hotel to operate in China, adding to the global hospitality company’s portfolio of more than 60 hotels operating in the Greater China region.

Created by world-renowned design firm Atkins, Hilton Chengdu’s eye-catching architecture features crystal-like structures at the top of the building, treating visitors to a mesmerizing light show at night. The interior of the hotel draws inspiration from the galaxy and features different lighting installations set against a lobby that boasts a three-story-high ceiling.

Located in the new Central Business District area of Chengdu close to the Century City Convention Centre, Hilton Chengdu offers 395 guestrooms and suites, featuring Sichuan design elements as well as modern features like floor-to-ceiling windows and ergonomically designed workspaces. Additional on-property amenities include a drive-in ballroom, 14 meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology, a range of restaurants and lounges, a luxurious full-service spa and a rooftop swimming pool.

Apart from Hilton Chengdu, Hilton Worldwide has 10 hotels in the pipeline under five brands, including upscale properties Waldorf Astoria Chengdu, Conrad Chengdu, Hilton Chengdu Chenghua, Hilton Chengdu Leading Center and DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu Longquan.
