Every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. That’s 15 people per hour; 360 in one day; 2,520 people per week; 10,080 in one month; and more than 120,000 people per year. Cancer doesn’t discriminate and can affect anyone you know. You can help by joining in Global Traveler’s fight against leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers.
How? On March 1, Global Traveler launches its 10th annual online travel auction. For the fourth consecutive year, the auction will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a charity near and dear to the hearts of GT staffers. Within our organization we have a member of the Board of Trustees for the local LLS chapter, a coach for LLS’s Team in Training program and a handful of other involved parties contributing to the organization’s annual gala. We ask you to support us in our efforts to bring an end to blood cancers.
The mission is even bigger. Research funded by LLS is leading the way in finding a cure to ALL cancers. Stand behind the mission and stand with us: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin disease and myeloma — and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
