American Express officially became the first global credit card company to operate a lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The brand’s Centurion Lounge opened at AMS Sept. 17, spanning nearly 6,000 square feet and offering a plethora of amenities.
The lounge celebrates Dutch art, landscapes and design, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can enjoy locally sourced coffee and a dedicated barista at Blue Roast Coffee Bar, seasonal dishes inspired by Dutch and regional European flavors and ingredients, and a full bar serving beer and cocktails. Surrounding passengers are works by Dutch artists.
In addition to food and beverage options, the lounge also features armchairs, café tables, high tops, booths, quiet workspaces and group seating, as well as private restrooms, a phone room, USB access and complimentary WiFi.
The new Centurion Lounge at AMS can be found between Concourses E and F, open 6 a.m.–9:30 p.m. daily.
