A few weeks ago, Francis X. Gallagher, Darla Mossotti and I went out to lunch at the stunning Sarasota Yacht Club. After the last-minute decision to go out for lunch, we were still able to get a reservation.
After the 20-minute drive from our office, we soon arrived at the valet. As soon as we walked in, everything felt and looked like we were on a yacht. From the timeless paintings to the sleek and classy décor, everything was stunning.
We made our way to our outdoor table where we took in the warm, sunny day. We had a lovely view of the water with various boats, and we even got to see dolphins. Soon we were greeted by our kind server, Laura, who went over the lunch specials for the day.
Fran and I ordered the Greek salad special topped with four large shrimp. It was light and refreshing for the warm day. Darla ordered a crab salad sandwich. She said it was tasty and delicious. Our lunch was perfectly paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.

Overall, Sarasota Yacht Club delivered a great lunch with a view, with even better company!
