Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue will see another luxury property open its doors come 2020. Aman New York will welcome guests in two years when it inhabits the architecturally iconic Crown Building at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street.

With views of Central Park, Aman New York will offer 83 guestrooms and suites, as well as permanent Aman Residences with 20 private suites, one of which will be a five-story penthouse at the top of the building. The hotel’s massive guestrooms will be 750 square feet or larger, each with a working fireplace.

A three-story, 22,000-square-foot Aman Spa will offer an 80-foot swimming pool, day beds and fire pits, making the urban setting feel more like a mountainside retreat. Outdoor spaces include a wrap-around garden terrace on the 10^th floor with views of the park.

Socialize with other guests and residents at the Cigar Bar, Piano Bar in the Sky Lobby, the Jazz Club in the basement, or at one of two restaurants, Japanese restaurant Nama or the Wine Library.

Built during the 1920s, the Crown Building was the original site of the Museum of Modern Art, featuring main design elements of the Gilded Age with Neo-Classical Beaux-Arts architecture.

Aman New York will be the third Aman property in the United States.
