This summer, Alaska Airlines connects Anchorage (ANC) to both Sacramento (SMF) and Detroit (DTW) with seasonal non-stop flights. Round-trip flights between Anchorage and Detroit begin June 14.
Both routes will be weekly and operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. Both services end Aug. 16.
“Our new routes provide guests with more options than ever to vacation this summer in the great state of Alaska,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president, network planning and revenue management, Alaska Airlines. “The nonstop flights from Detroit and Sacramento will put travelers right in the heart of Alaska by skipping a layover, and Portlanders can enjoy nonstop service to Fairbanks.”
The airline will also resume non-stop service between Fairbanks (FAI) and Portland (PDX), starting May 15 and ending Aug. 19.
This month, Alaska Airlines began service to other destinations in North America, including Sacramento to Los Cabos (SJD), Sacramento to Orlando (MCO), Portland to New Orleans (MSY), and New York (JFK) to Puerto Vallarta (PVR).

The hotel’s buildings are only two stories tall and also house a lobby, lounge, restaurant and event space. Tucked into a corner of the grounds sits a circular outdoor pool.
