W Hotels Opens First Property in Brazil

W Hotels makes its debut in Brazil with W São Paulo, a luxury hotel within a modern skyscraper atop Rua Funchal in the city’s southern business district. With views of the Pinheiros River and city skyline, W São Paulo brings unparalleled opulence to Brazil’s lively city.

The hotel spans 179 stylishly designed guestrooms starting on the 25th floor and including 16 suites. From the second to 22nd floors, W São Paulo also includes 216 W Residences, available in five categories across different sizes. W Residences provide guests with amenities like an indoor swimming pool, two saunas, a relaxation area, event hall and more.

In addition to upscale guestrooms, suites and residences, the hotel also boasts a signature AWAY Spa, perched on the 39th floor. Here, guests can select tailored treatments inspired by Brazil’s diverse biomes, utilizing native Brazilian ingredients like açaí, bacuri, buriti, umbu and butiá.

W São Paulo also includes a FIT gym, WET Deck with an outdoor pool, two restaurants, three bars and five event spaces. L40 Cozinha de Latitute, on the 40th floor, offers both panoramic views and gastronomic traditions from regions around the world. Drawing influences from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, China, Japan and the United States, this restaurant fuses Brazilian ingredients and culinary techniques with global flair. Bai Cozinha Sulista is a restaurant and bar on the 23rd floor highlighting seasonality and local ingredients to create tasty Southern Brazilian dishes. Yōso Bar and Café focuses on Japanese mixology.

Guests can also enjoy an ornate walkway connecting Rua Funchal with Rua Helena.
