Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced the expansion of two iconic hotels: Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam and Hôtel Lutetia in Paris. Following the completion of the transaction with relevant Works Councils, both properties will be rebranded, with Hôtel Lutetia transforming to Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris, and Conservatorium Hotel changing to Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium, Amsterdam.
Following comprehensive upgrades, Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium, Amsterdam will open January 2026. The Conservatorium Hotel lies in Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter and spans 129 guestrooms and suites. Taiko Restaurant offers guests innovative, Asian-inspired dishes, while Brasserie & Lounge serves all-day dining beneath a glass atrium. The hotel is also home to award-winning Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre.

Hôtel Lutetia, founded in 1910, blends Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. The hotel has hosted luminaries like James Joyce, Picasso, Matisse and Charles de Gaulle. This property is the only luxury palace hotel on Paris’ Left Bank and underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2018. Featuring 184 guestrooms and 47 suites, the hotel embraces elegance.
Like The Conservatorium Hotel, Hôtel Lutetia boasts Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre. The property also includes Brasserie Lutetia, a Parisian dining institution, as well as Bar Josephine.
