Founded by Madrid native and Parsons School of Design graduate Carmen Ruiz de Huidobro, Españolita Trips offers its first fall retreat in Mallorca, Spain. Set within a wooded private estate deep in the Tramuntana Mountains near Deia, the property has lovely gardens and secluded nooks perfect for reading, dreaming and relaxing. Arranged activities include a day at sea aboard an antique vessel with lunch and time to explore serene coves; walks through olive groves; visits to a farmer’s market; a traditional Mallorquin cooking class; time to explore the towns of Deia and Pollença; a visit to a studio where artisans create knives; a day in a vineyard with a wine tasting; a hike through the mountains with an expert guide in area botanicals; and leisurely talks focused on Mediterranean history.

Fascinating workshops in ceramics led by a local artist, and the opportunity to learn about the traditional processes of olive oil production are also included. Planned for Oct. 7–14, the small group (a maximum of 12 participants) is ideally suited for couples. Prices for a double room with en-suite bath begin at €3,400 ($4,002). Transfers to and from Palma de Mallorca Airport, transportation during the trip, shared accommodations in Son Rullán, all meals, drinks and snacks during tours and activities, excursions and events, cooking sessions and curated gifts during the retreat are included.
