Star Alliance now offers pay-per-use access to the Star Alliance lounge at Rome Fiumicino Airport. In addition to providing complimentary access for eligible customers, the lounge also now welcomes other Star Alliance passengers regardless of membership status or cabin class for a nominal fee.
Located in the Intra-Schengen zone in Terminal 3, Star Alliance’s Rome Fiumicino lounge is particularly convenient for customers traveling within the European Schengen Zone. The lounge provides views of the runway, complete with Italian designer furniture, culinary delights and a round-the-clock bar serving Italian coffee and other beverages. Guests of the lounge also enjoy high-speed WiFi.
“We’re excited to make this experience accessible to even more passengers, by opening up paid access to our lounge at Fiumicino Airport,” said Christian Draeger, vice president, customer service, Star Alliance. “Pre-booking of lounge access vouchers is also easy, with our simple, online process.”
The opening of the lounge to pay-per-use passengers marks the latest addition of Star Alliance-branded lounges to offer paid access. Star Alliance’s Rome Fiumicino lounge follows behind Star Alliance lounges in Rio De Janeiro (GIG), Buenos Aires’ Ezeiza International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
