Luxury boutique collection QT Hotels recently opened its newest hotel in the heart of Melbourne’s business district, joining a family of Australian designer hotels.
QT Melbourne is where elegance meets eclectic. The 188-room boutique hotel was 
inspired by the 1920’s rug traders from the local “Paris end” of Melbourne, from which the hotel draws its unique artistic character. The hotel, designed by acclaimed architect Angelo Candalepas, features a high-end industrial design and bold, quirky décor. Spacious guestrooms feature curated art, furniture and rugs by renowned Melbourne street artist James Beattie and public spaces feature dramatic installations and striking LED digital art.
The hotel offers unparalleled amenities and distinctive dining spaces including The Cake Shop, an exquisite pastry and coffee shop; the hotel’s signature restaurant, Pascale Bar & Grill; an innovative Japanese/Korean street food-inspired bar, Hot Sauce; and The Rooftop at QT which overlooks Melbourne’s striking city skyline. Guests can also visit Tanto to browse QT’s exclusive collection of high-end, Suisin-handcrafted Japanese knives.
