Airport and city center hotel chain Yotel announced plans to open a 451-room property at the soon-to-open Istanbul New Airport.
The property will have “landside” and “airside” sections, with 349 rooms landside and 102 airside. Both areas will be constructed with the brand’s Club Lounge concept, including “smart vending, co-working and relaxing areas, wellness centers and planted glazed atriums to connect people with nature.” The landside area will involve a restaurant, bar, gym, and flexible meeting spaces.
The new airport is set to open Oct. 29, while The Yotel property has not yet announced an opening date.
The Yotel brand started out as an airport-only concept in 2007, launching first in Gatwick (LGW). It’s gradually expanded to include urban properties.
