The property plans to open April 12, when guests can sprawl out on plush Bali beds and take part in mixology and art workshops by day, and enjoy sundown dinner parties by night. Situated at the heart of the resort, the restaurant transforms throughout the day, providing the perfect atmosphere for lazy lunches before undergoing a shift for unforgettable evening dinners. The restaurant incorporates fresh seafood, organic meat and seasonal vegetables harvested from the resort’s own gardens.

Dishes include wood-fired pizzas, sashimi platters, fried zucchini and slow-roasted ribs. Expertly crafted cocktails accompany these delicious plates, with many cocktails featuring twists on much-loved cocktails, such as a chili margarita with passionfruit cream and the Yazz Mule, a spin on the traditional mule with pineapple oleo and spicy ginger.
Yazz Collective encourages guests to explore areas beyond the resort, with private boat tours through the 12 surrounding islands. Back at the resort, guests can relax with traditional Balinese treatments in private spa cabanas.

Sep 20, 2023The Lancaster Hotel Review
Located in the heart of Houston’s Theatre District, the recently renovated Lancaster Hotel originally opened in 1926. The classic interior with an abundance of natural light floods the two-story lobby. A shimmering chandelier and elegant marble floors juxtapose nicely with the contemporary art displayed on the salon staircase wall.

Sep 15, 2023Beyond the Beach: See Hawai’i’s Diverse Verdant and Volcanic Landscapes on an Island-Hopping Cruise
Midway Atoll is the end of the Hawai‘ian Islands, literally. This is the ultimate fate of these low, sandy islets ringing a lagoon: Eventually these last remnants of a once large volcanic island will sink beneath the waves, completing a story that began 1,500 miles away. Midway, though not easy to get to, occasionally features in cruise itineraries. Holland America Line’s Westerdam offers a rare chance to glimpse the remotest of all the Hawai‘ian Islands with a scheduled stop in October 2024. You can still see the relics of the famous World War II battle here as well as a million nesting albatrosses and other seabirds.

Sep 14, 2023Hidden Gem: Discover the Distinct Biodiversity and Fascinating Cultural Riches of Madagascar
For sightseeing, there is quite literally no other place in the world like Madagascar. Formed more than 150 million years ago when a chunk split off the supercontinent Gondwana, eventually creating the globe’s fourth-largest island, Madagascar evolved in isolation, developing a unique ecosystem entirely its own. Up to 90 percent of all Madagascar’s plant and animal species exist nowhere else. This is the only place to visit the natural habitat of proto-primate lemurs; the multifingered aye-aye; the catlike fossa; spindly baobab trees; and the multiple exotics found in the unique rain forests, dry deserts, high plateau, coasts and island ecosystems of what is dubbed “the eighth continent.”
