Wow Air will roll out business-class seats and pricing with increased baggage allowance and priority boarding.

The Icelandic carrier will seat business-class passengers in a new cabin of “Big Seats” that can be booked through a range of tiered travel bundles. The class will be available on the airline’s Airbus A330 planes, which serve long-haul routes between Iceland and the U.S. West Coast. The seats will have a 37-inch pitch compared to economy’s 30 inches. The larger seats will also be available on the airline’s A320 and A321 planes, with the option to book seats in the XL (32–34 inches) or XXL (35–37 inches) category.

There will be three travel bundle options:

• Wow Biz: Including a business class-style seat, a handbag or laptop bag, one carry-on bag, one checked bag, seat reservation and cancelation protection; available starting March 1, this package includes priority boarding and a free hot meal and drink on board.

• Wow Plus: Including an economy seat, a handbag or laptop bag, carry-on bag up to a certain maximum, plus a checked bag and cancelation protection

• Wow Basic: Including an economy seat and a personal item that must fit under the seat in front, eg. a small backpack, pur­se or computer bag, up to a maximum of 42 by 32 by 25 centimeters/17 by 13 by 10 inches

Passengers will be able to purchase larger seats as an add-on outside of the Wow Biz package, as well as fast track options.
