Sunset Hospitality Group, one of the fastest-growing lifestyle hotel brands in the world, will expand to Albania with the debut of METT Ksamil in 2029. The 201-key property will sit on the Albanian Riviera (often called the Maldives of the Mediterranean for its white-sand beaches and clear waters), and serve as a year-round hub for wellness, leisure and social travelers.

The hotel will be constructed around light-filled public spaces and a central green atrium, complete with resort-style pools, destination dining and a rooftop lifestyle deck with panoramic views across the coastline.

Guests will have the choice of three signature branded dining outlets: a specialty restaurant, a rooftop pool venue and a beach club. A wellness space is slated to span more than 10,000 square feet, and a nearly 10,000-square-foot conference room is also expected to grace the hotel.

The hotel will lie within easy reach of Corfu, Tirana and Vlora.

METT Ksamil will bring METT’s global portfolio to 12 hotels, with six already open. METT also recently announced plans to open METT Milan Torre Velasca and Casa METT Sitges. Existing properties include METT Hotel & Beach Resort Bodrum, METT Singapore, and METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella-Estepona.
