A new level of luxury delivered with contemporary Mexican décor has been added to the deluxe guest rooms at the Viceroy Zihuatanejo on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Enhancements in the split-level rooms feature bathroom finishes of indigenous marble, rainforest showerheads, double sinks and separate water closets. Six of the eight rooms have their own plunge pools, recently retrofitted with new tile and stonework. One room even features a hanging bed. Authentic Mexican materials were used during the renovation, and at 480 square feet, the spacious rooms have plenty of places to relax. King-sized beds and technology upgrades have been added, along with comfy lounge chairs on private decks.

Rooms feature private balconies or terraces, with a choice of garden or ocean views. Guest amenities include complimentary WiFi and daily morning delivery of coffee and pastries, robes and slippers, fully stocked mini bars, HD televisions, bedside USB ports and twice-daily maid service. Activities include cooking classes, tennis, windsurfing, horseback riding, waterskiing, sailing, fishing, seasonal kayaking, paddleboard yoga, snorkeling, SCUBA diving and adventure excursions to nearby sites.
