United Airlines is offering members of its MileagePlus program the chance to win free flights for a year’s worth of travel with its Your Shot to Fly sweepstakes. The sweepstakes supports the Biden administration’s effort to encourage more people to get COVID-19 vaccinations.

New or existing MileagePlus members who upload their vaccination records to United’s app or website through June 22, can be entered to win a round-trip flight, in any class of service, to anywhere in the world the airline flies. A total of 30 pairs of tickets will be given away throughout the month of June.

On July 1, United will also announce five randomly selected frequent-flyer members who joined the sweepstakes and will win the grand prize of travel for a year for themselves and a companion, in any class of service, anywhere in the world United flies. Learn more about enrolling.

United is launching new routes to Croatia, Greece and Iceland this summer, as well as resuming flights to Italy, Portugal, Spain and France. New service from Newark (EWR) to Johannesburg (JNB) starts June 3, subject to government approval, and complementing recently launched, seasonal service from Newark to Cape Town (CPT). Service will resume between San Francisco (SFO) and Tahiti (PPT) in June.
