While people return to the skies and get back to traveling the world, airlines work hard to welcome passengers back and enhance experiences. United Airlines has focused on putting its customers first. Its newest way is by adding a larger selection of beer, wine and snacks on flights.
Starting June 1, United customers will be able to purchase beer, wine and White Claw Hard Seltzer on flights longer than two hours. United is the first major airline to offer hard seltzer onboard aircraft.
Other drinks being added to the menu are Breckenridge Brewery Juice Drop Hazy IPA, Kona Brewing Co. Big Wave Golden Ale, Michelob ULTRA, Stella Artois and more red, white and sparkling wine options.
On June 15, United will introduce a revamped menu of for-purchase snacks and brand-new, premium-cabin meal options on flights more than 1,500 miles and hub-to-hub flights more than 900 miles or more than two hours. Customers interested in checking out the new menu can do so by visiting the Buy-On-Board menu using United’s new mobile wallet technology.
Toby Enqvist, chief customer office, United said, “Our new contactless payment technology enables us to safely introduce this new menu on select flights as we continue to see more customers return to flying.”
