Philadelphia has a lot going on — history, culture and tons of great food. The city is an excellent place to do business, offering travelers a number of activities during their downtime.
One of the most famous Philadelphia attractions is the Liberty Bell. This symbol of American history is the perfect stop for any traveler. The bell is centrally located with lots of other historically relevant landmarks as well. If you’re a fan of American history, this is a great place to kill an hour between appointments.
A landmark probably more famous than the Liberty Bell is the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Anyone who has seen Rocky recognizes the steps, just the beginning. If you’re in a rush, visit the statue of the Italian Stallion and run up the steps. If you have a little more time, it’s definitely worth it to step inside, spending an hour connecting with fine art.
If you are on a kick to see more exhibits, take a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. The zoo, located nearby 30th Street Station, is the oldest zoo in the country. The zoo does an incredible job looking out for the animals and conserving species into the future. If you stop by the PECO Primate Preserve, you might even see Louis, the social media-famous gorilla who walks upright to keep his hands clean.
If you’re in the market for a quick bite to eat, Reading Terminal Market is a necessity. The market is located in Center City and has some of the best food offerings in the area. Enjoy nearly anything you want to eat fitting any kind of diet — the market has something for everyone.
South Philadelphia isn’t devoid of cool things to see and do either. South Street is a sight to behold on any given day, but make sure to stop in the Magic Gardens for some incredible street art without needing to invest too much time.
Even if your schedule is packed to the brim, there are still things to see and do in Philadelphia.

Mar 27, 2024Hyatt Regency Chicago Unveils Renovations This Spring
Half a century ago, several architecturally significant buildings not only changed the face of Chicago but also reintroduced the city as a world-class travel destination. Roughly a year after the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower) emerged as the then world’s tallest building, Hyatt Regency Chicago opened its doors in August 1974. A second tower was constructed in 1980, making it one of the most ambitious hotels the city had seen, down to its above-ground skyway and underground concourse.
