Opening Nov. 14 and on view through the end of the year at National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, the World of Fallout exhibition is a foray into the universe that makes up the popular world of the Fallout franchise. ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: The hotel was designed to blend into the New York City landscape, specifically the Chelsea Flower District on which the property sits. The iconic neon purple Moxy sign, however, beckoned to me, where I was first met with an airy atrium paying homage to the hotel’s location with vibrant plastic flowers adorning a vintage-looking floral stand. It offered the perfect photo opportunity, and I was told the installation changes regularly. While the lobby is more of a small room with check-in desks, it’s seamless, efficient and easy to navigate. The check-in desks alone are unique, hanging by dark pipes from the ceiling, swaying ever so slightly.
