If you feel glamping in tents or even fancy treehouses feels a little “been there, done that,” a new operation hopes to reinspire you to take to the wilderness for a luxurious sojourn.

LULU Glamping has just about finished the first of a handful of geodesic domes in southern Florida. Located 40 minutes outside Miami National Airport, the 1,100-square-foot structures include a variety of features and amenities to redesign comfort. Each dome includes a 364-square-foot bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, a kitchenette with essential amenities and a lounge area with a flat-screen television. Additionally, a 13-foot-high window ceiling touts a five-pointed star design and is made for stargazing. The 189-square-foot separate bathroom dome has a bathtub and shower, a dining pergola perfect for dining al fresco, and a private hot tub to let you relax and unwind. Smart home technology and high-speed internet provide state-of-the-art convenience and efficiency, and a new AI-powered application called LULU Guide curates a tailored itinerary and personalized glamping experience.

The glamping operation is the brainchild of entrepreneur and Airbnb super host Volodymir Hahorin, who wants to provide guests with luxurious hospitality coupled with high sustainability standards. Currently, LULU Glamping is crowdfunding via a Kickstarter campaign to build its geodesic domes. Financial support of the project is necessary to secure a spot as a future guest; availability is limited, dates are quickly being reserved and reservations have no expiration date.

LULU Glamping guests can spend their days hiking on well-maintained nature trails; partaking in outdoor yoga sessions; or exploring nearby attractions like Schnebly Winery, an alligator farm, Monkey Jungle, Miami Zoo and Coral Castle.

As the domes technically sleep up to four guests, they are geared toward couples craving a romantic getaway, families looking to reconnect in the great outdoors and friends seeking a fun weekend to catch up.
