Marriott added a new Sheraton property near Manila’s international airport. The Sheraton Manila is set within Resorts World Manila, close to Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 3.
The new property offers 390 rooms, including deluxe guestrooms with a private garden and spa-style bathroom. The hotel also boasts a dining and buffet restaurant, S Kitchen; Korean barbeque restaurant Oori; a 24-hour fitness center; Shine Spa with six treatment rooms; and a heated outdoor pool.
The hotel has nine meeting rooms, including a ballroom with capacity up to 570 people. There’s a ColLab co-working facility with six private rooms and 415 square meters of common area.
The hotel’s interior takes inspiration from Filipino art and design, incorporating local materials and artwork.
Anna Vergara, general manager, Sheraton Manila Hotel, said, “It is our commitment to convey that authentic and heartfelt Filipino hospitality to our guests through our amenities, cuisine and services. Our vision is to be the preferred place for people to gather as they indulge in experiences in the hotel. Being located in close proximity to the international airport, we will be their home, connecting travelers to the rest of Manila.”

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
