A new Rosewood property recently opened in Guangzhou, and is the tallest 5-star hotel on the planet.
It sits in the heart of Guangzhou’s Tianhe District and stretches 530 metres into the sky.
The new hotel features 251 guestrooms and suites, including four duplex suites as well as 355 residences designed for long-term stays. The property offers seven dining concepts, running the gamut from traditional Cantonese to grills and bars.
In addition to dining and event options, the property has the largest spa and fitness center in the region.
“As one of the fastest growing cities in Mainland China, Guangzhou has been — and will continue to be — a major contributor to economic growth. The city is well on its way to becoming a global megacity with increasing international influence, as the country’s vision for the Greater Bay Area comes to fruition, and we are thrilled to open Rosewood Guangzhou during this ambitious ascent,” said Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer, Rosewood Hotel Group.
This is Rosewood’s second urban property in Mainland China.
