A new refuge emerges in Taos, New Mexico, with Hotel Willa, the latest addition to Casetta’s growing portfolio of boutique hotels and the brand’s entrance into the American Southwest. At the edge of Downtown Taos Historic District, this 50-room retreat reimagines a 1960’s, adobe-style motor lodge.

The Sangre de Cristo Mountains frame the property, and guests are immersed in a calming oasis thanks to earth-toned minimalism and layered cultural storytelling. Guestrooms prioritize character and comfort; some boast kiva-style fireplaces, others spill out onto private patios with mountain views. Additionally, an original adobe residence has been carefully preserved and reimagined into a set of interconnected suites.
Hotel Willa is also home to a gallery-style lobby with rotating exhibitions, an Artist in Residency program, signature restaurant, pool and hot tub, contrast therapy circuit of sauna and cold plunge, fire pits, and an outdoor terrace for all sorts of events.

The hotel’s chef-driven dining venue, Juliette’s, honors and refines Northern New Mexican cuisine. The menu features ingredients like coal-roasted vegetables from the hotel’s own edible garden, chile honey-glazed proteins and delicate small places of calabacitas. The restaurant also has its own beverage program of low-intervention wines, small-batch spirits, local brews, house-fermented sodas infused with medicinal plants and herbal remedio teas.
