Fresh and sparkling after its redesign and restoration, The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville prepares to offer guests a true Music City getaway, with exclusive experiences connecting visitors to the city’s vibrant culture and history.
“As an intimate and independent hotel, we are in a unique position to make the extraordinary happen for our guests,” said Dee Patel, managing director, The Hermitage Hotel. “We’re fortunate to work with partners throughout Nashville to offer special access to iconic venues and unique experiences within the hotel. Guests of The Hermitage Hotel will be exposed to a Nashville that can’t be discovered elsewhere.”
Among the new offerings are the Vintage Guitar Connoisseur Experience, available to guests reserving The Hermitage Suite. Curated to match the guest’s guitar-playing style, a guitar from Carter Vintage Exchange — purveyors of rare vintage and handcrafted instruments created by noteworthy luthiers — will be hand-delivered to the suite. Carter Vintage Exchange’s local showroom will also be made available for private, after-hours shopping.
As part of The Studio Experience, guests team up with world-renowned songwriters and skilled musicians for a private session in one of the city’s premier recording studios. Working together to create an original song or polish up another piece, this experience also includes the opportunity to see the project through to production and recording.
Other experiences include a Girls Getaway with Draper James (a lifestyle brand created by actor and Nashville local Reese Witherspoon), with shopping, dining and sightseeing culminating in the Spillin’ Tea with Draper James Afternoon Tea Service back at the hotel; a private tour of the 1930s-era Cheekwood Estate & Gardens; and The Hermitage Hotel’s Suite Game Day experience, which comes with access to two seats in an exclusive luxury viewing box on the 40-yard line at Nashville’s stadium and concert venue, refreshments on arrival, and food and beverages during the game or performance. Upcoming shows include Luke Combs, George Strait, Ed Sheeran, Billy Joel and Taylor Swift.
Regarded as Nashville’s landmark luxury hotel for more than 100 years, the doors of The Hermitage Hotel first opened to welcome guests in 1910. Today, the centrally located, privately owned property and its Beaux Arts architecture is recognized as a National Historic Landmark, lauded by Historic Hotels of America for ongoing excellence. In addition to 122 oversized guestrooms, suites and gorgeous public spaces reflecting Southern charm, guests can enjoy two new restaurants, both under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Sep 30, 2026Review: Sushi by Scratch at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley
Husband-and-wife team Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee made their mark by reinventing the term “hidden gem” through their surprising and intentional collection of destination restaurants. While they launched the original Scratch Kitchen in 2013, an expired lease prompted them to relocate to an unassuming strip mall in suburban Encino in 2015 and rename it Scratch Bar & Kitchen. Even at a time when the San Fernando Valley was not known for innovative 5-star dining, the Lees’ concepts gathered such a strong buzz that discerning diners cheerfully followed them “over the hill.”
