Preferred Hotels and Resorts is celebrating a major expansion in its residential-styled properties.

In 2020, Preferred Hotels is set to open 13 new residential-style properties. The total number of properties in the Preferred Residences collection will span 100 properties across 32 countries, including France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Preferred Hotels and Resorts introduced the brand in 2015, and it has been growing steadily ever since, according to brand statements. The properties allow guests to feel at home while enjoying amenities of a luxury serviced apartment.

“Today’s luxury travelers are seeking distinctive, residential-style lodging options, whether that is a countryside villa or a city-center apartment, that connect them to their chosen destination and its unique culture while enjoying a space that caters to their specific needs, whether it is for a special one-night celebration or an extended relocation, and we are pleased to continue catering to this growing need through Preferred Residences,” said Michelle Woodley, president, Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Some of the new properties include the Ultima Collection, which will feature in France and Switzerland with Ultima Genève and Ultima Courchevel, respectively.

New properties are also set for London, Cape Town and Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.
