The latest hotel from boutique hotel collection Ovolo Hotels opened in Brisbane in November 2018.

Ovolo The Valley is the latest to join Ovolo Hotels’ ranks, the second in the Queensland region, following Ovolo Incholm earlier in 2018. Ovolo The Valley features 103 rooms and suites in five categories ranging from medium to Rockstar Suites.

“Our brief to Woods Bagot was that each of our hotels must have its own unique personality and style, inspired by local surrounds, culture, heritage and Ovolo’s playful, forward-thinking spirit and they’ve delivered exactly that,” said Girish Jhunjhnuwala, founder and CEO, Ovolo Group. “There is an element of fantasy, escapism and play in Ovolo The Valley. We’re positioning it as the perfect contemporary oasis to escape our busy urban lives.”

The new hotel also features a rooftop swimming pool with views of Fortitude Valley, a gym, sauna and meeting room. Other complimentary and standard services include 24-hour room service, large flat-screen televisions, excess wall plugs, phone chargers and Amazon’s Alexa cloud-based voice service.

“We’re proud that Girish has chosen yet again to bring his unique Ovolo style and sensibility to Brisbane,” said Kate Jones, tourism industry development minister, Brisbane.

In 2019, a new restaurant and bar concept will be unveiled at the property.
