HX launches first-ever cruises from New York to Greenland, complete with round-trip flights from Newark Liberty International Airport. The new voyage departs June 21, Greenland’s National Day, with itineraries featuring dedicated flight allocations on United Airlines’ direct route to Nuuk (GOH).

Taking place aboard the hybrid-powered MS Fridtjof Nansen, this journey was crafted and managed by Greenlanders, built in collaboration with local communities and featuring cultural ambassadors on every sailing.

Joining all voyages is Aleqatsiaq Perry, an Inuk storyteller, musician and hunter from Qaanaaq. He is also the great-great-great-grandson of Robert Peary, the first person to reach the North Pole.

The June 21 trip, called Icy Giants of Disko Bay, is a 12-day expedition offering travelers the chance to witness Disko Bay’s towering icebergs, visit UNESCO-listed Ilulissat and export Inuit settlements under the midnight sun.

Other upcoming voyages include the 16-day Mythical Lands of the North departing July 1 and 15, and exploring northwest Greenland to see narwhals, walruses and polar bears; 20-day Farthest North to Thule and Kane Basin departing July 29, which ventures farther north than HX Expeditions has ever gone in Greenland, connecting with isolated northern communities; and the 26-day Northwest Passage – Through the Arctic Labyrinth, which begins and ends in Nome, Alaska, crossing the Northwest Passage.

Looking ahead, HX will also launch a solar eclipse trip in August 2026.
