Royal Caribbean welcomed its 26th ship, Spectrum of the Seas. The first Quantum Ultra Class ship launches from Shanghai in June. The one-of-a-kind vessel includes Royal Caribbean’s first private enclave for suite guests, new stateroom categories and new dining experiences for a completely new way to cruise.
The exclusive suites-only enclave is accessible via special keycard access and a private elevator. It features a dedicated restaurant and lounge, private shopping and a private outdoor space for sunbathing.
The new ultimate family suite accommodates up to 11 cruisers at once. The three bedrooms are accompanied by a kid-friendly space with an in-suite slide and a recreation room outfitted with karaoke systems, video game consoles and more.
Public venues include the new Sichuan Red, for authentic Sichuan cuisine; Wonderland’s Dadong; Leaf and Bean, a traditional tea room; and Star Moment, a new karaoke venue.
For adventurous travelers, the enhanced SeaPlex is the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea, with new augmented reality experiences.
