A new spring/summer route announcement will make it easier for South Carolinians to jet off to London for a week away, while Londoners will be able to visit the charming southern town known for its hospitality and humidity.
Beginning April 4, 2019, British Airways will operate a twice-weekly route between London’s Heathrow Airport and Charleston, South Carolina (CHS). Flights will depart LHR on Thursdays and Sundays, leaving London at 5:20 p.m. and arriving in Charleston at 9:20 p.m., the same evening.
Flights departing Charleston will leave at 10:50 a.m. and arrive in London at 11:50 a.m. the next day.
Prices for seats aboard this BA flight will range from $750 for a round-trip economy ticket to $2,450 for a business-class ticket.
This latest route from British Airways joins other new routes with the airline from England to Nashville (BNA), New Orleans (MSY) and Pittsburgh (PIT) — totaling 29 U.S. destinations for the 2019 summer travel season.
