JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay.
Located on Vietnam’s largest island of Phu Quoc, a hidden paradise off the country’s southern coast, the new hotel offers the ultimate luxury accommodation experience.
The 244-room hotel, designed by award-winning designer Bill Bensley, is the second for the brand in Vietnam and joins a portfolio of more than 80 JW Marriott hotels across 25 countries.
“The opening of JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay celebrates the arrival of the first international luxury hotel to this picturesque island paradise,” said Mitzi Gaskins, global brand leader, JW Marriott & The Luxury Collection. “This stunning destination offers guests a variety of experiences, from white-sandy beaches to dense tropical jungle, and now with the addition of the JW Marriott brand, travellers will really have it all.”
The new hotel offers five distinct dining options and bars, from authentic Vietnamese at Tempus Fugit to French delights at French & Co. Guests can also enjoy artisanal boutiques and cafés at Rue de Lamarck, located within the hotel.
The hotel offers unique experiential activities including Vietnamese martial arts, cooking classes and lantern-making classes, as well as wellness activities such as yoga and island excursion hikes.
