Malaysia Airlines will renovate its London Heathrow T4 lounge later this year as part of the company’s rebranding and recovery program.
MAS announced plans to redesign its Golden Lounges at Kuala Lumpur International and Heathrow in May last year. The plan involves fine dining in first-class lounges and the addition of a demonstration kitchen, allowing guests to interact with the chefs.
The airline has been busy renovating its regional and Domestic Garden Lounges at Kuala Lumpur. The work was scheduled to finish in mid-August, but the timeline pushed back, and the lounges are likely to be closed until the end of September.
The company’s lounge at Penang International Airport is also closed for refurbishment.
The next step will be renovating the International Lounge within the Satellite Terminal October–December, and the Heathrow T4 facility in the fourth quarter of this year. More renovations are planned for lounges at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and Kuching International Airport early next year.
